Everyone is eagerly awaiting the true festival of football!

Details: Today it was announced that the Mexican government has decided to change the end dates of the academic year in schools and universities due to the upcoming World Cup.

Reports say that the school year in Mexico will be shortened and end 40 days earlier than usual. The summer holidays will now run from June 5 to August 31, which is highly unusual for educational institutions in Mexico.

According to officials, this move aims to let children fully enjoy the World Cup matches, especially since Mexico is one of the tournament’s host nations.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 across three countries, with Mexico hosting matches in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. Mexico has automatically qualified as a host, and the legendary Estadio Azteca in Mexico City is set to be one of the tournament’s main venues.
