A Premier League club could be sold for £400 million
The English Premier League club Brentford could be sold for £400 million, as reported by SkySports.
It has been revealed that the owner of the "Bees," Matthew Benham, may take this step to attract additional new investments. He has already hired a company to search for new investments and will consider offers for either a minority or majority stake. Matthew Benham expects to receive approximately £400 million. However, the owner wishes to continue to participate in the project, at least as a minority shareholder.
Since Benham took over the club, Brentford has risen from the Championship to the Premier League. They have also moved to the new Gtech Community Stadium.
By the way, the head coach of Brentford and the club's board of directors are considering offers from various bidders for striker Ivan Toney, starting at approximately £55 million. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are tracking him, but the "Gunners" are the main contenders to sign the striker.
