Former full-back of Arsenal and Chelsea, Ashley Cole, has been inducted into the English Premier League Hall of Fame, as announced by the organization.

The English defender becomes the first footballer to join the Premier League Hall of Fame in 2024.

From a young age, Cole played for Arsenal, having been a product of the club's youth system. Initially deployed as a forward, he later transitioned into a full-back role. He made his debut for the senior "Gunners" team on November 30, 1999, against Middlesbrough in a League Cup match.

On August 31, 2006, Cole moved to Chelsea in exchange for defender William Gallas plus £5 million. From his very first season, Cole, alongside Petr Čech, John Terry, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba, emerged as a leader of the team and a key player in the starting lineup.

During his tenure at Arsenal, Ashley Cole won the English Premier League twice, as well as the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield. With Chelsea, he also secured the Premier League title, along with triumphs in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.

It's worth noting that the English Premier League Hall of Fame was established in 2021, and it includes only retired players. It comprises 20 footballers and two managers.
