Brazilian football has witnessed one of the most shocking mass brawls in the history of the sport.

Details: The clash between Uberlândia and Mamoré in the first leg of the Minas Gerais U20 Second Division semifinals ended with an astonishing 51 dismissals. According to the referee's match report, 43 players and eight members of the coaching staffs received red cards. The match, played on November 1 at Parque do Sabiá, ended in a 3-1 victory for Mamoré.

The chaos erupted deep into second-half stoppage time, immediately after Mamoré scored their third goal. During the celebrations, player Davi reportedly made provocative gestures and shouted insults toward the Uberlândia bench, triggering a massive confrontation.

Players, substitutes and coaching staff rushed into the fight, exchanging punches and kicks. The confrontation escalated to the point where chairs and medical stretchers were thrown during the violence. Some participants were reportedly attacked even while lying on the ground.

Referee Fernando Patrick Drosghic Modesto was unable to show the red cards individually because the situation had spiralled out of control. He subsequently recorded the dismissals in his official report. Of the 51 expulsions, 48 were attributed to the mass brawl, while three resulted from other incidents during the match.

The match also saw a lengthy interruption and threats directed at the refereeing team by club officials. Notably, the 51 dismissals surpass the previous Guinness World Records benchmark of 36, set during a match between Atlético Claypole and Victoriano Arenas in Argentina on February 27, 2011.
