The Indomitable Lions will have to do without their defender on matchday three of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Aboubakar Nagida is suspended due to an accumulation of bookings and will therefore miss the home fixture against Namibia scheduled for 12 November. This absence is a major blow for manager David Pagou, who now finds his options limited on the left side of his defence ahead of this clash.

The Cameroonian manager will have to find a solution to compensate for Aboubakar Nagida’s unavailability. Despite this setback, Cameroon are approaching this double-header on matchdays three and four with confidence.

The Indomitable Lions currently top Group G with four points, having secured one win and one draw in the first two matchdays. The Cameroonians will therefore be keen to consolidate their position when they face Namibia, first at home on 12 November, before travelling to Namibia for the fourth matchday of the qualifiers.
