2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Cameroon’s official line-up against Congo revealed

The Indomitable Lions and the Red Devils are set to face off at the Alphonse Massamba-Debat Stadium in Brazzaville on matchday 2 of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Cameroon, who got their qualifying campaign off to a flying start with a 3-1 victory over the Comoros in Garoua on matchday one, are aiming to build on that result this Tuesday, 29 September, against Congo. However, it is not set to be an easy task for David Pagou’s side, who often struggle to win away from home.

For their part, the Red Devils are looking to bounce back after their 1-0 defeat to Namibia in their opening match. The last three head-to-head encounters between the two sides have been evenly matched, with one win apiece and a draw.

As in the previous match, Blondy Nna Noukeu is in goal for the Indomitable Lions. Bryan Mbeumo retains the captain’s armband.
