Senegal may have regrets at the end of the first half of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final at the Moulay Abdallah Stadium. Iliman Ndiaye could have opened the scoring for the Lions of Teranga before the break. But that was not the case.

Nicolas Jackson found Iliman Ndiaye deep on the right wing, but the Everton player was unable to convert the chance. One-on-one with Yassine Bounou, the Senegalese player crossed his shot to the right, thinking he had beaten the Moroccan goalkeeper. But Bounou made a phenomenal save reminiscent of Emiliano Martinez's at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Senegal, who dominated the first half, went into the dressing room with the score tied at 0-0.
