Comoros: a difficult start, but returning home changes the picture

Benjamin can still rely on experienced attacking figures such as Peter Shalulile and Deon Hotto, with Muzeu providing another threat after his winning goal against Congo. However, Namibia have also arrived in this international window with personnel problems. Prins Tjiueza and Tuli Nashixua were ruled out through injury, David Ndeunyema is also sidelined, while defender Alex Mumbango is unavailable because of travel-document issues.
The victory over Congo ended a difficult sequence for Namibia. Velud's side are back in Moroni, where they defeated Namibia twice less than a year ago, and the visitors' attacking numbers in their recent matches remain modest. Even with several important forwards missing, Comoros showed against Cameroon that they can create moments against stronger opposition.
This is unlikely to be a comfortable victory, and Namibia's compact structure should keep the contest close. But with home advantage, a positive recent head-to-head record and greater urgency after starting the group with a defeat, Comoros have enough to edge a tight match.
