What did the Nigeria coach say about Boniface's performance with the national team?

Nigeria have put in a great performance since the start of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of nations in Morocco, but ended their last match against Rwanda with a surprise loss.

But what surprised and surprised the audience was the unsuspecting performance of Victor Boniface with the Nigerian national team all the times he participated and took his chance with the national team.

His modest performance caused negative reactions from the Nigerian fans, Especially against the Rwandan national team, where he did not shoot a shot at the Rwandan goal for the entire ninety minutes.

The coach of the Nigerian national team said about the performance of his young player: “Boniface, we all know what he’s capable of doing, especially for his club and when he comes back here, we try to give him a lot of confidence and playing time but he’s not hitting the back of the net for whatever reason, I’ve spoken to him personally many times. I’m someone who wants to give players confidence”.

Note that Nigeria will meet Rwanda in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the next international break.
