Liverpool have yet to find their rhythm this season, and as a result, the team's performances have been far from impressive.

Details: 23-year-old Liverpool and France national team striker Hugo Ekitike opened up about the club's current struggles, while also sharing his outlook on the upcoming fixtures and the congested schedule:

"We need to stick together and really support each other, because we're heading into a demanding stretch with a lot of games coming up.

But I’m confident. I think we can achieve something; we have a lot of matches ahead, but we're in a good position.

Momentum is everything in football. We started this season by winning all our games late, scoring last-minute goals. Then we began to drop points, but I believe we can turn things around.

We can get back to winning ways. It's all about the dynamic. I trust that we can improve and become even better," admitted Hugo.

At the moment, Liverpool sit eighth in the Premier League table with 18 points from 11 matches. Arne Slot's side have managed just one win in their last six league games.

This season, Ekitike has featured in 15 matches for the Reds, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist.
