At Anfield, Liverpool are hosting Nottingham Forest in Matchday 12 of the English Premier League.
This game marks a milestone for the Merseysiders' talisman, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian started from the opening whistle and etched his name into club history as one of the select few to have played 300 matches in the competition.
Only four players have made more Premier League appearances for Liverpool than Salah: Sami Hyypiä (318 matches), Jordan Henderson (360), Steven Gerrard (504), and Jamie Carragher (508).
For the record, in his previous 299 appearances, Salah scored 188 goals and provided 88 assists.
