WAFCON 2026: the fixtures for Matchday 2 in Group C

Nigeria will face Zambia, whilst Egypt will take on Malawi.

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations continues in Morocco. Following on from Groups A and B, Group C also enters its second matchday this Saturday, 1 August.

The most eagerly anticipated fixture in this group will see Nigeria take on Zambia this Saturday at 8 pm GMT. The Super Falcons, who lost 3–2 to tournament debutants Malawi on Matchday 1, are looking to bounce back.

However, the reigning Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will face Zambia. The Copper Queens, who thrashed Egypt 6–0 on the first day, will be looking to build on that result to secure their place in the next round.

This clash between Nigeria and Zambia is therefore set to be a thrilling encounter. The second match in Group B will see Egypt take on Malawi at 5 pm GMT.
