WAFCON 2026: CAF unveils the referees for the Nigeria - Zambia clash

Nigeria will face Zambia this Saturday, 1 August, at 8 pm GMT at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat as part of Matchday 2 of Group C of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which is taking place in Morocco.

For this clash, which promises to be a thrilling encounter, the Confederation of African Football has appointed Josphine Wanjiku from Kenya as the referee. She will be assisted by Tabara Mbodji from Senegal and Elizabeth Njoroge from Kenya.

Aline Guimbang A Etong from Cameroon will serve as the fourth official, whilst Mmahawa Kourouma from Guinea will act as the reserve assistant referee.

CAF has appointed Salima Mukansanga from Rwanda to the video assistant referee role. She will be supported by Abdalaziz Yasir Ahmed from Sudan.
