WAFCON 2026: Kick-off times, venues and the fixtures for the remaining quarter-finals

Two clashes are on the programme this 9 August at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca and the Al Medina Stadium in Rabat.

The 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations continues in Morocco. The competition has been in the knockout stage since Saturday 8 August.

Following yesterday’s first quarter-finals, it’s now time for the final quarter-final fixtures of the competition. On the programme is the clash between Cameroon and the defending champions, Nigeria.

The Super Falcons face the Indomitable Lionesses at 5 pm GMT at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca. This clash promises to be a thrilling one between the ten-time African champions and Cameroon, who had a strong run in the group stage.

However, the Super Falcons’ attacking prowess remains formidable. They scored nine goals in the tournament’s group stage, whilst the Indomitable Lionesses managed just five goals in the first round.

The second fixture of the evening will see Ghana take on Malawi at the Al Medina Stadium in Rabat. Newcomers Malawi caused a surprise in the group stage by securing two consecutive victories. The Black Queens will therefore be facing an opponent capable of springing a surprise.
