WAFCON 2026: Cameroon and Nigeria’s official line-ups revealed

The Indomitable Lionesses and the Super Falcons are set to face off in a few moments in the quarter-finals at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

This is one of the most eagerly anticipated quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. It will see Cameroon take on Nigeria in a few minutes’ time in Casablanca.

The Cameroonian side will have to battle it out against the defending champions for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament being held in Morocco. The Indomitable Lionesses go into this quarter-final on the back of a near-flawless group stage campaign, with two wins and a draw.

However, their opponents, the ten-time African champions, are brimming with confidence despite finishing second in Group C. One of the Super Falcons’ key strengths remains their formidable attack, which has already scored nine goals.

With kick-off for this quarter-final just moments away, Cameroon’s head coach, Valentine Nguele, and Nigeria’s head coach, Justine Madugu, have each revealed their starting XI.
