Oleksandr Usyk plans to step into the ring just a couple more times before drawing the curtain on his professional career.
Details: In an interview with The Ring, Oleksandr Usyk made it clear that he doesn't intend to prolong his career and is considering only a limited number of bouts before bowing out of elite boxing.
The Ukrainian's likely next opponent could be American Deontay Wilder—negotiations between the camps are already underway. Previously, Usyk also mentioned his intent to remain at the top level for another two years or so, aiming to finish his career at around 41 years old.
Notably, Usyk last fought in July 2025 in London, where he knocked out Dubois to become the undisputed heavyweight world champion, unifying the WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBF belts.
Reminder: Oleksandr Usyk returned to the top of the P4P rankings.
