TS Galaxy coach encourages Puso Dithejane to return to form as the player missed out on Bafana Bafana Afcon call up
Adnan Beganovic is hoping his midfielder Puso Dithejane to raise his game after the TS Galaxy midfielder missed out on a place in the Bafana Bafana squad to the Africa Cup of Nations.
Dithejane has been a revelation for TS Galaxy this season to a point that Bafana coach Hugo Broos took notice.
Beganovic has marvelled how the Betway Premiership side has transformed into one of the local talent producers as the team has seen sold players to the big teams in the past.
Kaizer Chiefs bought Given Msimango, Orlando Pirates signed Lebone Seema and Mamelodi Sundowns signed Bathusi Aubaas to mention three players.
Galaxy sold their defender Samikelo Kabini to Nowergian side FK Molde in the off-season to show their intent in produce players of high standard.
This afternoon they face Kaizer Chiefs in a Betway Premiership clash at Mpumalanga’s Mbombela Stadium.
"It's unbelievable because since I've come into the club three years ago, we tried to produce players to put them on the market, and also for Bafana Bafana because it's very important for the club," Beganovic said.
"Still he is young and we have a young squad, and for me we can talk about everything, but other coaches say TS Galaxy belong with the three clubs based on their performance on the field, how we play tactically and look technically on the field.
"I can be so proud, but that means we must push well and improve our players all the time, and then we will produce players for Bafana Bafana."
The match starts at 3.30pm.
