Tottenham have moved significantly closer to signing Manchester City and Brazil winger Savinho. According to Football Insider, the London club have made considerable progress in negotiations and are aiming to finalize the deal before the summer transfer window closes.

Personal terms with the 22-year-old Brazilian have already been agreed. The player himself has informed Manchester City of his desire to leave and is eager to continue his career under Roberto De Zerbi.

The main stumbling block remains the transfer fee. The Citizens are looking to receive around £60 million and are not yet ready to let the player go. Additionally, the club wants to secure a replacement for Savinho first. Reports suggest there is interest in Pedro Neto from Chelsea.

For Spurs, the signing of Savinho is set to become one of the key acquisitions of this summer. Having already strengthened their defense and midfield, the club now aims to seriously upgrade their attacking line.

Savinho is their main target. Negotiations with Manchester City are ongoing. The deal is expected to be completed before the transfer window closes, and Savinho will move to North London," said Pete O'Rourke.
