The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced its sanctions for the brawl following the Süper Lig match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe.

Trabzonspor will play their next six home matches behind closed doors due to the aggressive behavior of their fans. Additionally, two Fenerbahçe players have been suspended for one game each.

Recall that in March, after the final whistle of the Turkish Süper Lig match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe (3:2), a brawl broke out on the field. Following the game, Fenerbahçe players remained on the pitch to celebrate their victory, which angered the home team's fans. Trabzonspor supporters stormed the field and attacked the Fenerbahçe players.

Initially, the players defended themselves against the unruly crowd, but eventually sought refuge in the tunnel from the hooligans, who clearly outnumbered them.

The head of the Turkish Ministry of the Interior, Ali Erlikaya, stated that 12 assailants have been identified and apprehended.
