Galatasaray Confirm Victor Osimhen Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

Galatasaray have confirmed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has undergone successful surgery following a knee injury sustained during their UEFA Champions League match against VfB Stuttgart.

The Turkish champions announced on Saturday that the Nigerian forward underwent the procedure at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital. The operation was carried out by the club's doctor, Yener İnce.

Osimhen is expected to miss Galatasaray's upcoming league fixtures against Amedspor and Samsunspor as he begins his recovery and rehabilitation. The club estimates that the process will take approximately three weeks.

The injury is also a concern for Nigeria, with the Super Eagles preparing for their November double-header against Tanzania. The first meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 13.
