The new brutality in Turkey. Trabzonspor fans attacked Fenerbahce players right on the field (VIDEO)

In the Turkish Süper Lig, Trabzonspor hosted Fenerbahçe. The visiting team secured a victory in a high-scoring match (3:2), scoring the decisive goal in the 87th minute.

After the game, Fenerbahçe players remained on the field to celebrate their victory, which angered fans of the home team. Trabzonspor supporters rushed onto the field and attacked the Canary players.

Initially, the players defended themselves against the unruly crowd, but then sought refuge by fleeing into the tunnel from the clearly outnumbering hooligans.

This is not the first incident exceeding the bounds of decency in Turkey this season. In December, the president of Ankaragucu, Faruk Kodja, ran onto the field and assaulted the main referee of the match against Rizespor, Halil Umut Meler. For this inappropriate act, Kodja was banned for life from football activities.
