Details: According to authoritative Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Nigerian forward sustained a left knee injury during a Champions League league stage match against German side VfB Stuttgart.
An MRI scan revealed the presence of a loose intra-articular body (fragment) in the player's knee joint, requiring immediate medical intervention. Club doctor Yener İnce will perform arthroscopic surgery on the player's left knee at the Acıbadem Maslak Hospital.
Due to the injury, Osimhen has already been ruled out of Galatasaray's squad for their upcoming league match against Amedspor. The striker's recovery timeline will be announced following the procedure, but his absence represents a major blow for the Turkish side given his prolific form this season.
