Tom Brady and David Beckham came to watch an England third division match together

A day before the Champions League kicks off, the most talked-about match in England was a League One (third division) game between Birmingham City and Wrexham. But why?
Details: The reason is that two iconic former athletes – NFL legend Tom Brady and football legend David Beckham – attended the match together.
Tom Brady is a minority shareholder in Birmingham City and is considering the option of fully acquiring the club in the future. Beckham, who has a good relationship with Brady, joined him for the game during his visit to Europe.
The Manchester United legend left the U.S. to attend the funeral of former England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson.
Additionally, Beckham continued his tradition of visiting Pie & Mash, a local café in Essex, where he has breakfasted during his visits to England over the last five years.
Reminder: Today's opponent for Birmingham, Wrexham, also has a U.S. connection, as the club is owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Previously, Birmingham set a League One transfer record by signing striker Jay Stansfield from Fulham for €17.8 million.
