Switzerland and Germany are currently playing their match in the third round of the group stage at Euro 2024. A victory for either team guarantees them first place in the group.

Julian Nagelsmann chose not to experiment and fielded a strong lineup for the Germans. They took control of the ball from the beginning, but after Andrich's disallowed goal, they conceded into their own net.

The Swiss attacked down the left flank, and Frohler's shot was responded to by Bologna forward Dan Ndoye. On the replay, it seemed the referee might have to cancel the goal, but it was counted.

VAR images showed that the tip of Antonio Rüdiger's right foot kept the Swiss forward onside. Therefore, Swiss players were able to celebrate their goal against Germany's net by just a few millimeters.
