On the last day of June, Barcelona's club media outlets posted reports that on-loan Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo would be returning to their clubs. Those postings were soon removed, and here's why.
According to ESPN, the reports were removed because both Barcelona and the players intend to extend their co-operation, and the statement made it sound as if the door had closed and nothing more could be done.
