The NFL team Kansas City Chiefs are currently considering a move to a different arena and state, as reported by BILD.

This decision stems from the residents of Jackson County in the state of Missouri, where the Chiefs' arena is located, voting to revoke tax breaks for the club. Previously, the team received a "three-eighths cent tax," which went to the Chiefs. These funds were intended for the renovation of the old Arrowhead Stadium.

Currently, the club is exploring the option of relocation, with one possibility being Dallas. However, concrete plans will be formulated in the near future. Furthermore, the Texas city, home to the Cowboys, the most valuable franchise in the NFL (worth approximately 8.5 billion euros), does not concern the Chiefs.

However, there is a caveat in the whole story: the Chiefs' contract with the stadium in Kansas City is valid until 2031. Therefore, it appears that the club is attempting to pressure the state to accommodate them. They will continue to explore relocation options, but until 2031, there is ample time to reach an agreement.

Kansas City became the first NFL team in 19 years to win the Super Bowl for the second year in a row. This is their fourth Super Bowl title in history.
