The contract with Real Madrid is in doubt. The Cream goalkeeper has not yet decided on his future

Real Madrid's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has yet to sign a new contract with Los Blancos and remains undecided about his future.

As reported by Marca, the Ukrainian has not renewed his contract with the Spanish club, despite statements made at the end of the 2023-24 season. In the spring, it was reported that Lunin was ready to sign a new deal and stay in Madrid, but the situation has since changed. Real Madrid's management has received no updates regarding their goalkeeper's future.

However, there is little concern in Madrid about this issue. They have confidence in Thibaut Courtois despite his almost entirely missed season due to injury. Additionally, Real's management believes that the arrival of Jorge Mendes is also influencing the contract situation. The new agent's involvement might indicate that the player intends to change teams.

Notably, Kepa is monitoring the developments regarding Andriy Lunin. Should the Ukrainian move to another club, Real Madrid might consider bringing Kepa back into the squad.
