West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta was sent off in bizarre fashion. The Brazilian was first shown a yellow card, but then launched into an emotional tirade at the referee. The match official, Ingland, tolerated it for a while, but Paqueta wouldn't back down, earning himself a second yellow and an early trip to the locker room.
What's intriguing is that Lucas Paqueta was recently at the center of a major betting scandal. He was accused of deliberately picking up yellow cards in four Premier League matches so that acquaintances could cash in on bets.
