Liverpool face West Ham away in the 13th round of the English Premier League. Notably, there were some surprises in the Reds' starting lineup.
Mohamed Salah was not included in the starting eleven from the first minute. For the first time under Arne Slot, the Egyptian did not start a Premier League match. The last time Salah was on the bench was back in April 2024, after which he made 53 consecutive starts.
It is reported that the manager's decision is down to a congested fixture schedule. Just a few days ago, Liverpool faced PSV in the Champions League, today they're up against West Ham, and on December 3 they will host Sunderland.
