Real Madrid is set to kick off their new La Liga season soon, and Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly finalized his starting lineup for the first matchday.

According to Marca, the Italian coach has decided to stick with the same lineup that secured a 2-0 victory over Atalanta in the 2024 UEFA Super Cup.

In that game, Real Madrid's starting XI was as follows:

• Courtois – Carvajal, Militão, Rüdiger, Mendy – Valverde, Tchouaméni – Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinícius Júnior – Mbappé.

This means that Real's star signing, Kylian Mbappé, will make his first appearance in the starting lineup for a La Liga match this weekend.

In the opening matchday of La Liga, Real Madrid will face Mallorca in an away fixture.
