“We lacked balance”. Ancelotti unhappy with Real's performance against Mallorca

Yesterday, Real Madrid unexpectedly dropped points in their opening La Liga match against Mallorca (1-1), a game that marked the La Liga debut of their star signing, Kylian Mbappé.

Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, attributed the result to a lack of balance.

“We lacked balance. I am not happy with the draw because we could have done better. We needed more attitude. We can learn a lot from this game because it seems clear where we could have a problem”, – Ancelotti told Marca.

The only goal for Real Madrid was scored by Brazilian forward Rodrygo.

In the second round of La Liga, Real Madrid will face newly-promoted Valladolid at home on August 25.
