Mbappe remains silent as Real Madrid draw with Mallorca

Real Madrid had a disappointing start to the new La Liga season, failing to secure a win in their away match against Mallorca. Despite the star-studded lineup, Ancelotti’s side only managed a draw.

Kylian Mbappe delivered an underwhelming performance, while his attacking partners, Rodrygo and Vinicius, combined to score an early goal. The hosts, however, didn’t sit back and defended well. Early in the second half, Vedat Muriqi equalized for Mallorca.

Real Madrid pushed hard to grab the win but were unsuccessful. Although dropping points at the start of the season isn’t critical, the Madrid club didn’t appear to be significantly better. Overall, Mallorca deserved the result.

Mallorca — Real Madrid — 1:1
Goals: Muriqi 53' — Rodrygo 13'
Sent off: Mendy 90+7 (Real)

In their next match, Real Madrid will host Valladolid, while Mallorca will travel to face Osasuna.
