UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid faced Europa League champion Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup match on Wednesday, August 14.
This game marked Kylian Mbappé's debut for the "Galácticos." Although he did not make a significant impact in the first half, neither did the team as a whole. The first half ended in a goalless draw.
After the break, Real Madrid played with much more intensity. In the 59th minute, Federico Valverde, assisted by Vinícius Júnior, opened the scoring. The "Galácticos" continued to dominate and scored a second goal, with Mbappé marking his debut with a goal, assisted by Jude Bellingham.
