Lionel Messi shared the domestic challenges he faced while playing for PSG in Paris.

According to the legendary Argentine, his family lived in a "strict" neighborhood where disagreements with neighbors were frequent.

"It was a difficult change for us. We did not expect to leave Barcelona, but we had no choice. I went through two years of unhappiness and lack of enjoyment, which affected my family life. I missed many moments of my children's school life. Nonetheless, it was a life experience. During my time in Paris, I experienced the greatest possible achievement – becoming a world champion.

We lived in a peculiar neighborhood in Paris. Neighbors would call and knock on our door, asking us to keep our children quiet at nine or ten in the evening. They were strict, though I hold no grudges against them.

Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out as anyone had hoped. Honestly, it deeply affected my mood, and it showed on the pitch. My private life in Paris was far from ideal," Messi told ESPN.

Messi spent two seasons in Paris after leaving Barcelona. The Parisian team, with the legendary Argentine, was eliminated twice in the Champions League round of 16. Subsequently, Messi moved to Inter Miami.

Recently, the Argentine announced that Inter Miami would be his last club. Lionel has no plans to join any other club and intends to end his career in the USA when the time comes.
