Sekhukhune United grab a point against AmaZulu in a thrilling 2-2 draw in the Betway Premiership encounter played at Princess Magogo Stadium in KZN

Bright Ndlovu salvaged a point for Sekhukhune United as he netted the equalising goal for Babina Noko to come back from a goal down to draw 2-2 against AmaZulu.

Eric Tinkler's Babina Noko looked to have been on the verge of a loss in this tie as Usuthu took the lead via Thapelo Matlhoko.

Olerato Nadi equalised for the visitors before Nkosikhona Radebe restored AmaZulu's lead in this Betway Premiership encounter at Princess Magogo Stadium.

From this goal in the second half, the home side looked to be in control of this match and well on their way to reclaim the third spot from Kaizer Chiefs, who won 3-1 against Orbit College earlier today.

But Tinkler's men were not to be outdone by the Kwa-Zulu Natal counterparts.

Inside the last quarter of the match, it was Ndlovu who equalised with a shot in the box to beat Olwethu Mzimela, who was between the AmaZulu sticks.

That's how Arthur Zwane's men failed to reclaim the third spot from Amakhosi as the draw means they are one point behind Chiefs who have 39 points with two games less than AmaZulu.

Sekhukhune United jumped to fifth spot following this result.

Tinkler would be pleased as AmaZulu came in to this match with an unbeaten run of four matches.
