AmaZulu's Thabiso Kutumela on their match against Sekhukhune United today: This game will determine who will finish third on the PSL standings
Thabiso Kutumela is adamant a team which wins this evening between AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United will determine who will finish on the third spot.
Usuthu host Babina Noko this evening at Princes Magogo Stadium for a 5.30pm kickoff Betway Premiership match with eyes firmly on the third spot.
Arthur Zwane’s troops are unbeaten in their previous four PSL matches with Kutumela playing a pivotal role in those games.
“We wish to continue playing because when there are breaks in between, it affects the momentum. But we are looking forward to winning this game because it's important. We are playing against the team with whom we are competing for a third-place position, but only one team can be there. So, we have to win this game to show who wants it more," said Kutumela said on SABC.
The former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns striker will face his former coach in Eric Tinkler, who is in charge of Sekhukhune United, where Zwane expects him to deliver the goals.
Presently, Usuthu are third on the table with 37 points while Sekhukhune are fifth with 34 points.
That signals a potential pulsating game.
