Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is showcasing incredible performances for the Georgian national team at Euro 2024. Although he conceded four goals in three group stage matches, he made the highest number of saves, with twenty crucial stops.

Such performances have drawn interest from numerous clubs. Previously, we reported interest from Chelsea and Newcastle. Now, it has come to light that another Premier League club is monitoring the goalkeeper.

According to Radio MARCA, Liverpool considers the Georgian an excellent replacement for Alisson Becker, especially given the interest in the Brazilian from several Saudi Arabian clubs.

It is believed that Liverpool is leading the race for the goalkeeper, and the asking price of €40 million for Mamardashvili is deemed acceptable by the Merseyside club.

While the exact future of the Georgian goalkeeper remains uncertain, Valencia is likely willing to sell Mamardashvili. This is further supported by the fact that Los Che has already signed a new goalkeeper, who is expected to replace the Georgian.

Giorgi Mamardashvili is a product of a Georgian club and made his professional debut in his homeland. In 2021, he was loaned to Valencia and then permanently joined the team the following year for €850,000.
