The All India Football Federation has found itself facing accusations of corruption, but its top officials are standing firm, delivering a robust response to every charge thrown at them.

Details: Federation president Kalyan Chaubey emphasized that the organization strictly follows all regulations, arguing that if any corruption had truly occurred, it would have been detected at its very inception. According to Chaubey, all accusations are being made by his rivals for the presidential post. He specifically addressed the claims made by Bhaichung Bhutia, who called for his resignation and questioned the effectiveness of his football academies.

Quote: "If there had been any corruption, it would have already been noticed or flagged. These statements have come from three or four individuals who either lost the elections to my team or were previously part of the AIFF. Bhutia also runs a commercial football academy that bears his name. There are 20 such academies across the country. I also have a summary of his team's results in the I-League U-17 — on March 31, they lost 0-31 to Minerva Academy.

They are exploiting the emotions of families, the feelings of people who think, 'This man reached the highest level in Indian football; if I join his academy, I too can make it in the sport.' He promised Indian football dreamers and their families, and here is the result we see," Chaubey said at a press conference.
