The South African defender has been one of the standout players for Bafana Bafana at the ongoing World Cup and this has caught the eye of many teams.

According to SoccerBeat, the Chicago Fire defender, has caught the Nottingham Forest's attention.

Since the tournament started, Mbokazi has been a hard rock in the Bafana rearguard alongside German-based Ime Okon.

The meteoric rise of Mbokazi has been a marvel one as the player hardly spent a season at Orlando Pirates before being signed by the MLS side in Chicago Fire.

Now the international stage has been a seamless transition for the bulky defender who may now play in the EPL in the coming season.
