The Polish Football Union has decided on the future of national team head coach Michał Probierz.

According to the official statement of the union, the coach will continue his duties after Euro 2024, despite the fact that Poland lost the chance to qualify from the group after the 2nd round of the group stage.

"During a morning meeting with the team and coaching staff, PZPN president Cesarius Kulesza expressed his full support and also announced that Michal Probej will remain as head coach of the Polish national team," the Polish Football Union said in an official statement.

Poland lost its two starting matches at Euro 2024 and lost any chance of getting out of the group. These minutes, the team is playing its final match at the tournament - against France.

Earlier, Bayern Munich star forward Robert Lewandowski said whether he would finish his career in the Polish national team after Euro 2024.
