Orlando Pirates raids Marumo Gallants as they sign Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane ahead of the Betway Premiership resumption next week
Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane have joined Orlando Pirates from Marumo Gallants.
Pirates announced the duo joined from the Bloemfontein-based side today and they will join their mid-season camp in North West.
Msendami was also a subject of Kaizer Chiefs’ interest recently nut now the Sea Robbers have won the race for his signature.
The Zimbabwean international was also in Morocco for the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations with his native Warriors side as they lost in the group stages.
His international experience will add to the Pirates side which boast a huge bulk of Bafana Bafana players lately.
Msendami’s team-mate Chabatsane is a left-back who can play as left-back and also as left-centre back.
He is seen as a direct replacement of Mbekezeli Mboka who left Pirates for USA’s Chicago Fire.
Abdeslam Ouaddou's men face Sekhukhune United next week as they seek to consolidate their lead atop of the Betway Premiership standings with 28 points.
