Selaelo Rasebotja has paid tribute to Orlando Pirates management for their unwavering support during his time on the side-lines through injury.

The midfielder has been out since May after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in May and underwent surgery.

That surgery has kept him out until early this month.

The 24-year-old is ready and fit for action now as the Betway Premiership resumes this week.

"I've received a lot of support from the club's medical and technical teams, they've been behind me since the day I came out of surgery. They've helped me keep my mind sane throughout this process, which will help me return to the pitch in good form," Rasebotja.

“We are happy to be back. We are currently in camp in Rustenburg, and everyone is working hard and showing a great attitude behind the scenes. We can't wait for the football to start again."

The Sea Robbers signed Andre de Jong, Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane during this transfer window and Rasebotja sounded pleased by the new arrivals.

“I think the signings are great acquisitions for the club, and they add to the depth we already have,” he said.

Rasebotja will be hoping he cements his place in the Pirates line-up as the PSL resumes this week with the Sea Robbers facing Sekhukhune United next weekend.
