Orlando Pirates midfielder Oswin Appollis on their 3-0 victory over AmaZulu: It was a great game and we are happy with the goals and the points
Oswin Appollis expressed joy at Orlando Pirates’ 3-0 victory over AmaZulu yesterday.
The Bafana Bafana international scored Pirates second goal at the Orlando Amstel Arena and also earned the Man of the Match award in the pulsating tie.
Yanela Mbuthuma and Relebohile Mofokeng scored the other goals for Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side to climb to the top of the table with 58 points.
“Overall, the team fought on Saturday. We’re very happy with the three points and the three goals,” he told Orlando Pirates TV.
“We wanted to get more goals but it wasn’t meant to be.
“But, like I said, we’re happy with the team’s performance and the three goals and the three points.
“We’ll keep on pushing and like the boys said in the dressing room, we’ll keep pushing game by game and we will continue next week.”
