Orlando Pirates face AmaZulu with a full strength squad with no suspended players at Orlando Amstel Arena as the PSL race intensifies

Orlando Pirates only have Thapelo Xoki and Sihle Nduli unavailable for their clash against AmaZulu tomorrow.

The Sea Robbers are without the duo who seemingly are out for the season although the club has been modest about being open about it.

“Unlike their visitors heading into Saturday’s clash, Pirates have no suspended players while Sihle Nduli and Tapelo Xoki both continue their rehabilitation after missing a significant part of the season through injury,” Pirates stated on their official website.

Pirates face Usuthu at home tomorrow afternoon in a Betway Premiership match which has so much significance for the PSL title challenge.

A week ago today, Abdeslam Ouaddou’s Pirates were held to a 2-2 draw by Richards Bay in Kwa-Zulu Natal, a result which dented their title aspirations greatly.

Now they face Usuthu at Orlando Amstel Arena with a point less than Mamelodi Sundowns who are on top of the PSL table.

Sundowns have 56 points while Pirates have 55.

A loss or draw against Arthur Zwane’s troops may end Pirates chances of derailing Sundowns from defending their PSL title this season.

Pirates are the only side which has shown real hunger for the championship compared to Sekhukhune United, Kaizer Chiefs and Usuthu who lost the chances midway through the campaign.

The match starts at 3pm.
