Oleksandr Usyk has been suspended from boxing matches due to health concerns

Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has been suspended from boxing matches due to health concerns until July 2, as reported by journalist Mike Coppinger.
Meanwhile, Tyson Fury, who lost his WBC title to the Ukrainian, has been advised to rest for one week following their bout.
Today, Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, announced on his X page the date for the rematch between Usyk and Fury. The second fight is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on December 21.
The rematch clause was included in the contract prior to their first fight, which occurred earlier this month and concluded with Usyk winning by a split decision.
There was a possibility that Usyk could be stripped of his IBF belt on June 1, with mandatory challengers Filip Hrgović and Daniel Dubois set to compete for it. However, it has been officially confirmed that Usyk's team submitted a request to the IBF and successfully ensured that the belt remains with the Ukrainian until the rematch with Fury. This means the second fight will once again be for the unified championship.
