Nkosingiphile Ngcobo believes this is the bets Kaizer Chiefs campaign in recent years

Nkosingiphile Ngcobo sees this season as the best in recent years for Kaizer Chiefs.

The Amakhosi midfielder, ahead of their clash against AmaZulu, said he is aware they have not won any trophy but he still regards this as their best campaign of late.

“I consider this to be a good season, not great because at Kaizer Chiefs the expectations are higher, but after the last few years I think we turned a corner and are heading in the right direction," said Ngcobo.

“We will take what we have learned and try to improve for next season.”

They face Usuthu in Durban having secured the third spot and that's something Ngcobo cherishes for the club.

“It’s a great feeling to know that we are going to play in CAF competition again next season. It is something we wanted to achieve as a team, and we are happy to have done it with two games to spare. I am excited for it. It will be difficult, but we will benefit from the experience," he added.

AmaZulu will be tricky customers for Chiefs as they are fighting for the fourth spot while Chiefs want t finish the season on a high.

Ngcobo said they are aware of the threat posed by the team coached by former Chiefs man Arthur Zwane.

“We know how dangerous AmaZulu can be with coach Arthur Zwane so we are expecting a tough match and we are ready to fight for the win," he said.

The match starts at 3pm.
