Cedric Kaze on hero to zero Glody Lilepo in their 1-0 over AmaZulu in a PSL match
Cedriz Kaze describes losing Glody Lilepo through suspension in a manner in which he was red carded as an ‘unfortunate’ situation for Kaizer Chiefs.
The Chiefs winger was red carded after receiving two yellow cards in Amakhosi's 1-0 victory against AmaZulu in a Betway Premiership match.
Lilepo's second booking was the one which saw him take an early shower after he celebrated the game's only strike by taking off his shirt -which is a bookable offence.
His coach said this was a display of passion by the DRC-born player.
“Sometimes you also understand the player, the passion and relief for scoring but it’s good that we have three points," said Kaze.
“But in future we need to be careful about things like that.”
“We need to be careful because he was already booked and he takes his shirt off as he celebrates.
“Which means that we’re going to miss him in the last game. It’s an unfortunate situation.
Chiefs next face Chippa United in what will be their last PSL match on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
