Arthur Zwane downplays his knowledge of Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their tie this afternon

Arthur Zwane has downplayed his knowledge of Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their tie this afternoon in the Betway Premiership.

Zwane has spent his greater part of his football career at Chiefs and he ended up rising to the coaching seat at Naturena before joining AmaZulu.

That is reason enough to think he knows a lot about the entire Chiefs squad to face them at Moses Mabhida Stadium today.

But Zwane said this is not the case.

“I might know the weaknesses and strengths because I watch football,” said Zwane.

“But that doesn’t mean I know them that much. Now, it’s late, football evolves. There’s a lot of dynamics. So, to be quite honest, that counts for nothing.

“What matters most is how we’re going to profile them individually and collectively as a team and prepare for that. Look at the weaknesses and strengths and try and keep them as a team.”

The match starts at 3pm.
