Meme of the day! Lamine Yamal turns his 8.9 rating into a joke after Barcelona rout

Lamine Yamal decided that after a night like this, the numbers could speak for themselves — with a little humor added.

Details: According to The Touchline, the Barcelona star shared his rating from the match against Racing Santander on social media, but presented it in meme form. The graphic shows Yamal's smiling face surrounded by the key events from his performance and, most importantly, a bright green 8.9 rating.

There was plenty to fit into the picture. Barcelona demolished Racing Santander 7-2 at the Spotify Camp Nou, while Yamal stayed on the pitch for the full match and scored the final goal of the evening in the 89th minute.

FotMob gave the 19-year-old an 8.9 rating for his performance. Yamal finished the game with one goal and two assists and also received a yellow card. His evening was not perfect, however: the winger failed to convert a penalty late in the first half, with Julen Agirrezabala saving his effort.

The missed penalty clearly did not spoil Yamal's mood. Instead of a long reaction after the final whistle, he chose a meme-style post featuring his own statistics. It is worth noting that after six LaLiga appearances this season, the Barcelona winger has already recorded seven goals and two assists.
