The Democratic Republic of Congo will make their World Cup debut on 17 June at the tournament taking place in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Leopards will be playing their first match on the world stage in 52 years.
FIFA has appointed Qatari referees to officiate this match. Abdulrahman Al Jassim will be the referee for this match, scheduled for 5 pm GMT on Wednesday 17 June. Al Jassim will be assisted by Taleb Al Marri and Saoud Almaqaleh.
In Group K, the Democratic Republic of Congo will face Portugal on 17 June, Colombia on 24 June and Uzbekistan on 28 June.
